The value of the global video games industry will reach close to $US160 billion in 2020, buoyed 9.3 per cent by the impact of COVID-19.

On any metric you look at it’s a healthy growth industry, and yet Australia is hindered in that growth by being one of the very few nations with no federal government support for the sector.
