Pub market thaws as two groups snap up $100m of venues

Listed pub owners Redcape and Hotel Property Investments have snapped up over $100 million worth of east-coast assets in a strong signal of confidence returning to the sector following the major disruptions caused by COVID-19.
In Sydney's inner west, owner and operator Redcape has acquired the Gladstone Hotel – along with the Little Bottler bottleshop and Local Liquor Superstore – in Dulwich Hill from long-term owner Craig Coote for $38 million.
