Star casino CEO joins the groovers of Newtown for a record $5.8m
The Star casino chief executive Matt Bekier and his wife, Melinda, are set to ditch the high-end Sydney suburb of Vaucluse to join the groovers of Newtown in a recently purchased $5.8 million converted warehouse.
The former bakery on Australia Street has long been the home of 2UE’s former Sydney general manager Bob Miller and Gay Black, who put it up for sale two years ago at $7 million, and more recently had $6.6 million hopes when The Agency took the listing last year.
