A top Chinese diplomat has warned against "ill-founded" accusations being used to block Chinese investment.

Wang Xining, the deputy head of the Chinese embassy, also criticised Australia's willingness to launch anti-dumping complaints in a rebuttal to claims Beijing was engaging in economic coercion by initiating trade disputes.
