Bosses fear effect of rolling lockdowns
Victorian-based chief executives are bracing for the possibility of the COVID-19 lockdown in Melbourne lasting longer than six weeks as they push for more rigorous contact tracing so future flare-ups don't result in a rolling wave of confidence-shattering shutdowns.
Australia's second largest pubs and bars operator, Australian Venue Co, with a portfolio of 170 pubs and bars, has thrown out $100,000 of stock as 42 of its Victorian venues were again forced into a second lockdown.
