New Boral boss puts October deadline on big decisions

The new chief executive of ailing building materials group Boral says he'll likely have made up his mind by October about whether the underperforming North American business should be sold off, but he doesn't have any preconceived ideas.
Former Brambles chief financial officer Zlatko Todorcevski was named the new boss on Monday, and he said he would be clinical in assessing the right structure and make-up of the portfolio.
