Coronavirus has flattened the car industry beyond recognition. Its effect on the motorcycle market may be less severe.
Motorcycle sales in the first quarter of 2020 dropped 10.6 per cent from that of 2019, compared with a 12 per cent fall for cars, according to research firm Motorcycles Data. Some industry watchers are saying they actually feel optimistic about 2020 when it comes to motorcycle sales.
