Canberra/Washington | Prime Minister Scott Morrison has used a live address to the nation to quell rising community anxiety over the coronavirus, reassure Australia it will emerge from the crisis in strong shape and urge all citizens to do their bit to help with challenging months ahead.

Hours after unveiling a $17.6 billion economic stimulus package to ward off recession, the Prime Minister said on Thursday night the economy and the budget would bounce back strongly once the crisis had passed.
