Elizabeth Ann Macgregor is surprisingly upbeat. It’s the end of a few long weeks since Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art was forced to shut its doors against the threat of COVID-19. The pace has been relentless and shows no signs of letting up. But Macgregor thrives in times of crisis, and her customary determination and gallows humour are firmly in place. This isn’t the first time she’s stared disaster in the face. It isn’t even the second.
