Washington | President Donald Trump and lawmakers raced on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) to negotiate an emergency relief package for an economy battered by the coronavirus crisis, with lawmakers and the administration upbeat about a deal despite delays.
“It was a great meeting,” Mr Trump said early in negotiations, without providing any details. He also urged Americans to stay calm, saying the coronavirus would go "go away".
