Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak dead at 91
Cairo | Hosni Mubarak, the autocratic Egyptian leader who ruled for nearly 30 years and was the resolute face of stability in the Middle East, has died at 91, the country's state-run TV said.
Mr Mubarak was forced by the military to resign in 2011 after nationwide protests as part of the 2011 "Arab Spring" pro-democracy movement.
