Between the coronavirus, sluggish economic growth, tapped-out monetary policy, deficit-driven economic growth and a president shaking the foundations of the global trading system, it's not like Americans didn't already have enough to worry about.

Now here comes Bernie Sanders, the independent "democratic socialist" whose promises of "political revolution" and a slug to the wealthy to fund healthcare and education for all have turned him into the front-runner among Democrats vying to become president.
