Aussies urged to be on alert for virus symptoms

Australians are being urged to report high fevers and other flu-like symptoms to doctors after Queensland health authorities confirmed a man who had travelled to China was being tested for the deadly coronavirus.

The unidentified man, who has a respiratory infection and is now in isolation, had visited Wuhan, the Chinese city of 11 million people identified as the source of a new strain of coronavirus, which has made more than 200 people ill and caused four deaths.
