British Labour embarks on three-month struggle for party's soul

London | Britain's Labour Party will unveil its new leader on April 4, giving its MPs, members and trade unionists three months to conduct a drawn-out battle for control of the battered party's soul.
The party on Monday (Tuesday AEDT) announced the logistical details of its leadership contest, triggered because Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn is stepping down after leading the party last month to a shattering election defeat, the worst since 1935.
