Canva has revealed its 12-month revenue run rate will be $291 million by the end of 2019, as the graphic design software-as-a-service (SAAS) moves to justify a $4.66 billion valuation placed on it by its latest funding round.
As the price of fellow Australian technology darlings WiseTech and AfterPay came under attack last week, a Canva spokesman said the company, although private, decided to provide updated financials to The Australian Financial Review – the latest lodged with the corporate regulator are from 2017 – to stop "people reading between the lines".
