BHP wants one of its own for next CEO, chairman says

London | BHP is actively grooming internal candidates to replace long-serving CEO Andrew Mackenzie, the mining giant's chairman Ken MacKenzie has revealed.
Mr MacKenzie told reporters after the company's London annual general meeting on Thursday (early Friday AEDT) that BHP was working with potential internal successors to bring them up to the required standard.
