Shanghai | With Donald Trump preparing to press the button on another round of  tariffs on Chinese goods, Beijing's top trade negotiators have returned to Washington knowing chances of a breakthrough in the latest round of talks are low.

While Beijing has been restrained in its official comments about the chances of finding common ground with Washington, analysts and foreign trade experts in China say the country's leaders are tired of dealing with an erratic US president they cannot trust.
