Labor has demanded Scott Morrison sack Angus Taylor after unearthing a transcript of an interview in which the cabinet minister admitted he was defending his own interests as well as those of constituents when intervening in a land clearing dispute.
Mr Morrison rejected the demand, saying he would not take lectures from Labor leader Anthony Albanese whose NSW branch of the Labor Party is mired in a fresh corruption scandal over illegal donations.
