London | IFM Investors has come under political pressure in Britain over one of its flagship investments, the M6 toll road, where a local council is campaigning to get the Australian fund manager to do more to boost traffic on the route – including by potentially slashing the toll charges.
The M6 runs from the Midlands town of Rugby to the Scottish border. The toll road bypasses built-up parts of Birmingham.
