Aqualand buys out Oxford Properties at Barangaroo Central

Sydney developer Aqualand and Scentre will soon take over Sydney's Barangaroo Central project as its sole developers after Aqualand moves to strike another deal with Canada's Oxford Properties over its rights to the project's office towers.

Oxford Properties, the real estate investment arm of OMERS, one of Canada's largest defined benefit pension plans, joined the original consortium of Grocon, Aqualand and Scentre last year after it bought the office rights from Grocon.
