If there is a no-deal Brexit, then Brussels is to blame
Dealing with the EU just confirms the arrogance, inflexibility and lack of common sense that now threatens a hard departure for the UK, writes Alexander Downer.

Secondly, every pundit is telling you he will be or won’t be a great prime minister.
Honestly, we just don’t know. To succeed he will need steely resolve, good judgment and continue to use his mastery of language. So far, so good. He’s sacked half the May cabinet, which was divided and feckless, and replaced it with people he feels he can trust to deliver Brexit by October 31. That showed steel and it showed good judgment.
