Indigenous recognition is already looking difficult

It didn’t take long for the culture wars to be reignited – and not just on religious freedoms. Scott Morrison told a gathering of the Hillsong religious community this week that this country needs “more love and less judgment”.
He will not only have to persuade some of his more fractious Coalition colleagues of this when it comes to constitutional recognition of Indigenous Australians.
