Qantas hits business frequent flyers in loyalty revamp

Qantas has increased by 9 to 13 per cent the number of points needed to redeem a business or first class seat - as well as an increase in the number of points needed to get an upgrade, for the first time in 15 years.

The changes are part of a $25 million revamp of its lucrative frequent flyer loyalty program to make it more attractive to its 12.6 million followers.
