Substance outranks style in The Castle, writes Peter Crayford.
Hmmm. Rob Sitch here with a feature which looks at a family of battlers taking on big government and big business. In the tradition of Dad and Dave who might have gone to Canberra had it been built, or Mr Deeds who did at least go to town, this ironic Capra-esque comedy has one very noticeable quality which distinguishes it from so many others set in the Australian suburbs. It patronises neither its characters nor their plight.
