Callide coal owners power up search for funds
The coal miner responsible for firing up Queensland's Callide power stations, Batchfire, is pitching prospective debt and equity investors for fresh funds.
Street Talk understands Batchfire, which bought the Callide mine in central Queensland from Anglo American in October 2016, is seeking to raise up to $100 million debt and is considering an equity investment worth about $25 million.
