Advocates of assisted dying are using star power to lobby for a bill to enable the ACT and Northern Territory to legislate for voluntary euthanasia.
Television personality Andrew Denton and former Australian Medical Association president Brian Owler are among supporters lobbying senators to back a bill put forward by Liberal Democrat David Leyonhjelm, which could pass the Senate as soon as Thursday.
