US regulator under pressure as rest of world grounds 737 Max 8

Washington | US aviation regulators are under growing pressure to ground Boeing's 737 Max 8 jet after a wave of carriers and authorities from around the world ordered the aircraft out of the air.

Adding to anxiety about the aircraft's safety, President Donald Trump warned that planes were "becoming far too complex to fly" and supported internet speculation that last weekend's Ethiopian crash was the fault of software systems that pilots can't turn off.
