Micke Suorra is a moose whisperer. Roaming alongside the roaring rivers and through the wild forests of Swedish Lapland during his youth, he learnt his first call of the wild as an eight-year-old, when his father taught him how to summon hazel grouse.

Suorra, who traces his heritage to the local Sami people, has since mastered the calls of animals ranging from fox and deer to moose and bear. These days, he uses that gift to delight guests at the Arctic Bath hotel, luring bulls by imitating the mating call of the moose cow.
