S o often, “braggable” adventure implies extravagance – and often it is expensive. But the thing is, a great adventure need not always be costly, especially if it’s a walking, cycling or driving holiday (and do think about an electric car for the latter)..
On my bucket list for 2024 is more walking in the United Kingdom, including Scotland’s Orkney Islands to see Skara Brae, described as “the best preserved Neolithic village in Western Europe”. I’m also hoping to head to Africa (perhaps north Kenya and south Sudan) and to tick off the five remaining states in the United States that I haven’t yet visited, all in the south: Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and South Carolina.
