Air Canada is joining a string of North American carriers expanding in Australia, hoping to capture travellers fed up with being unable to use their frequent flier points.

Along with more flights and more seats, Air Canada will give customers plenty of points – and fast-track their access to Star Alliance airport lounges – as part of the new push.
