London | Mining billionaire Andrew Forrest owns the iconic Australian footwear maker R.M. Williams, so he wears the boots wherever he goes – even when in the Swiss ski town of Davos.

Last week at the World Economic Forum, he sat down at a roundtable on Ukraine and found himself beside NATO boss Jens Stoltenberg. Forrest clocked that the former Norwegian prime minister was sporting a pair of R.M. Williams, and exclaimed: “You’re wearing the best boots in the world!” Stoltenberg shot back: “So are you!”
