What's your personal style? I start with jewellery. My contemporary jewellery collection goes back almost four decades, comprising mostly silver rings and bracelets. My favourite artists include Tone Vigeland, Larsen & Lewers, Sean O’Connell and Carlier Makigawa. Each atelier-created piece is unique and presents as a mini-sculpture.

I wear my rings and bracelets with a wardrobe of 32 pieces (the space of my original cupboard) consisting solely of interchangeable skirts, jackets and pants by Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Commes des Garçons in black and navy. I wear the same black stretch Issey Miyake T-shirts, varying in sleeve length (long, three-quarter and sleeveless) as dictated by the seasons.
