At The Big Group, we do every type of celebration you can imagine, including a lot of funerals. When organising a funeral, the thing I’m always struck by is how little people know of what the person who has passed on really wanted. Thank goodness I have a file to make it all easy.

I’ve already picked out my casket; it’s wicker and I want it to be covered in a blanket of fresh flowers; violets, gardenias, roses, peony roses, hellebores and more. I want it to be dramatic and beautiful. I want people to go “oh my god, that’s amazing”. Flowers are such a big part of who I am. There can never be enough of them.
