What’s that saying about strong women? May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them… may we dress like them? It was certainly the cri de coeur at Paris Fashion Week, where shoulders jutted from the body, waists were nipped to flatter and show the female form and gowns were as elegant as they were statement-making.
Lockdown dressing? That’s over. As we emerge from three years of leggings and sneakers, the message from designers is clear: get up, get dressed, get out, and look bloody good while you’re at it.
