Ecotourism and green travel getaways on European safaris and solar trains
One day soon – if things go to plan – wild creatures such as Iberian wolves will roam western Europe as they did thousands of years ago. Extinct species will reappear, courtesy of funded cross-breeding programs with animals that survived Europe's agricultural revolution.
They'll all migrate along safe corridors between newly created nature reserves, through countries such as Portugal, Spain and France. And we'll be able to witness it all – with wine glass in hand – from luxurious safari camps, built deep within pristine wildernesses that were once farms, just as we might in the Maasai Mara or the Serengeti.
