Charles Jeffrey’s take on traditional jasperwear might have upset purists, but a new generation of consumers lapped up the designs with gusto. From the upcoming July issue out on June 28.

Collaborations with gender-fluid fashion brands, ceramic skateboards with British skate brand Palace and bold, almost lairy, new colour variants of their Florentine collection … this isn’t your grandmother’s Wedgwood. But it just might be your great-great-great grandmother’s.

Before their collaboration with the flamboyant Charles Jeffrey and their
label Loverboy for the brand’s spring-summer 2024 runway collection in Milan last year, Sjoerd Leeflang, vice president of Wedgwood and Waterford, had never heard of the Scottish designer.
