More than 20 hybrid-powered Hypercars are set to battle it out at Le Mans
The stakes couldn’t be higher for this ultra-competitive class at next weekend’s race: “If you win Le Mans, all the people around the world know it,” says Ferrari’s endurance boss, Antonello Coletta.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s best known – and best attended – long-distance motor race.
Last year a crowd of 325,000 lined the 13.6-kilometre road circuit in north-west France to watch the 100th running and, in remarkable symmetry, Ferrari’s triumphant return after a 50-year absence.
