When asked to name the greatest sports car race in the world Stéphane Ortelli, who has competed in almost all the major modern events, doesn’t hesitate.

“It is Le Mans,” the 1998 24-Hour winner tells us. “First of all, because I was born French [but] because it’s like a world championship or Olympics for an athlete.”
