Audi has joined the small coterie of makers offering fully electric luxury cars in the Australian market. After a long wait following the European launch, we now have two versions of the e-tron: a conventional SUV and a so-called Sportback variant with a raked rear roofline.

With prices starting at just over $137,000 (plus on-road costs), and with no meaningful government incentives, the e-tron here won’t match Norwegian sales. Over there, it is the best-selling passenger vehicle, outright.
