Some of today’s cars blast so many warnings that drivers lose track of what they are being alerted to. But the solution could be at hand.

Volvo’s Martin Magnusson says that when there are too many beeps, alarms, buzzers, flashing lights and dashboard messages, people tend to ignore them. That’s counterproductive, and the company is working on a fix.
