HBO’s The Penguin is a brilliant series-length sequel to Matt Reeves’ 2022 film The Batman.

After Colin Farrell’s scene-stealing cameo as the Penguin in that critical and commercial hit, producer DC Films ordered eight streaming episodes for the canny villain (who, to be clear, is not actually a bird).
