As Christie’s loosens its ties with Australia, Sotheby’s strengthens its connection and has scheduled its second dedicated auction of Australian Aboriginal art in New York in early December.

“Sotheby’s sees a huge future in Aboriginal Art,” says Tim Klingender, the Sydney-based senior consultant of Australian Art to Sotheby's New York.
