Women artists have dominated Australia's top art prizes, winning the 2016 Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes, a first in the history of the coveted competition.
Melbourne artist Louise Hearman won the $100,000 Archibald Prize from the Art Gallery of NSW with her oil portrait of Australian entertainer Barry Humphries.
