Board purge at MSO, chairman and three directors to go
The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra board has purged itself following this year’s corporate governance scandal, and chairman David Li will retire alongside several other directors including deputy chair Margaret Jackson.
Property developer Mr Li, and former Qantas chairwoman Ms Jackson have departed the board by the first quarter of 2025, the MSO announced on Friday evening.
The MSO said Mr Dudgeon and Ms Jameson were leaving as part of the board renewal announced on Friday. It has subsequently been confirmed they resigned earlier this year.
