The Australian Financial Review’s People in Business column was often first to give national press to those who went on to be famous, and in 1964 it was Fred Schepisi’s turn.

Schepisi is best known today as the director behind Hollywood hits such as Roxanne starring Steve Martin, and Six Degrees of Separation starring Will Smith.
