This year’s singular pop culture – and culture war – phenomenon is a chubby ginger Virginia factory worker with mental health issues who apparently wrote his politically conscious country songs while living in a campervan with his wife and kids as recently as last month.
Oliver Anthony was cited in the last Republican presidential debate and may be in line to perform his odes of working-class struggle at the Super Bowl.
