At 90, Australian artist Ann Thomson feels like a statistical anomaly. And she’s not happy about it.
Thomson’s unyielding, lifelong dedication to making art will be celebrated in Sydney on Saturday night. But she can’t help remembering all the creative women of her generation who disappeared into domesticity because, well, that was Australia in the 1950s and ’60s.
