Lunch with the 2017 Rich List: Geoff Harris wants to see 20 Snowy Mountain projects
Geoff Harris has joined the chorus against possible rises to the top marginal tax rate, advocating for a package of lower corporate and individual tax rates along with an increase in consumption tax.
Harris, a Financial Review Rich List member and co-founder of Flight Centre, also said the federal government should consider a radical $200 billion infrastructure spend and two budgets, one for recurrent spending – to be balanced annually – and another for infrastructure spending, as well as the cutting state governments and councils around the country in favour of a string of larger regions.
