ASX gains 0.7pc; BHP soars 4.9pc on iron ore, oil rally
The S&P/ASX200 Index gained 40.9 points, or 0.7 per cent, to 6042.2 points as BHP enjoyed its biggest single day gain since May 19. The miner is trading at its highest since January 24.
