John Porter, the legendary former boss of Austar, was bullish when he assumed the chair of marketing services firm Photon (now known as Enron, er Enero) in April from Brian Bickmore. “The companies I want to be involved in are those that will double, quadruple their value over the next three to four years. This is one. Too many media companies are out there fighting a war of attrition: ‘I wanna die more slowly than the other guy’.”
